it does really depend on your style of driving or what your more likely to do on a daily basis. I do between 30 and 35mpg on a daily basis but this is a mixture of town, A road and motorway driving, and to be honest i dont hang about either lol.

my bro has an EP3 typeR, finds it hard on fuel, hes got a limited edition grey one, he loves it tho, there cracking cars and very quick. personally imo i think go diesel if ur wanting good MPG

320miles to a tank on the motorway, usual for me is around 34mpg on the motorway at 75 which isnt great! Mine a fr petrol!

Im glad you said that. I have a ibiza fr petrol remapped and get 33-34 on the motorway. Roughly get 300miles to a tank using mainly a roads and town driving. I thought I was the only one getting 33-34 on a motorway as many others get more.

Cheers.

In my FR 20VT Revo Stage1, on a M5 run I get around 40mpg that's using cruise control (42mpg keeping it below 3k rpm). A little bit better if I use my foot.
A and B roads it's more like 38mpg and around town 35mpg if I'm very careful.

Cheers lads

Thats the thing with type r's, you have to drive them hard into Vtec = more juice.

The cupra is an all rounder and pulls straight away. I know after test driving the civic and the cupra where my money went :);)
