It should addapt over the next couple of days, What fuel are you useing ???
Now you've got the panel filter in mod your airbox mate or at least fit a bigger feed pipe to it.

Yeah thats what they said, so going to let it settle down and then hopefully go along to the next rr day and see what its putting out then.
I'm using BP Ultimate, i would use Vpower but i don't live anywhere near a Shell garage.
By mod the air box, do you mean smooth it??

250 BHP isnt too bad of a result. What I would say is you will see some nice gains from getting a TIP and a better cold air feed into the airbox. 277lb/ft of torque seems spot on and thats what ultimately accelerates the car. Also using good fuel i.e. tesco 99 will give you better results.

Mine runs very well on it, I dont put anything else in it.

TESCO 99 for the win. Trust me I know about Petrols hehe.

Tesco 99 is very good for LCRs - my best mates one responded really well with it.

Yeah torque it very strong and smooth. I'll look into getting the TIP in the future aswell as doing the air box and air feed.
Danger is i think thinking i have caught the bug now, haha

As for the fuel, i think i'm going to stick to the ultimate. Both Sainsbury's and Tesco have poorer qaulity additives in them from what i have heard from our fuels qaulity department at BP.

Theres a lot you can do yourself if your handy with a spanner, and then you can say that you did it aswell.
The worse thing I did myself was the S3 strut brace

249 bhp and 277 ft/lbs is good mate mine got 260 bhp and 260ft/lbs. I'd def get the TIP and also consider uprating exhaust if you haven't already done it. Glad you're happy with the map.

Nothing wrong with the remap figure, it's the torque you want to look out for and you have alot there. Each car seems to take differently, mine's about 255bhp but has about 299lb/ft and it runs really well along side my friend STi spec Impreza with 270bhp and approx 265lb/ft...he can't pass me that's for sure.

Do the N249 bypass, I tried that this weekend and I am really really impressed with it, the car is much more driveable, I feel alot more in control and the power gets down noticably quicker.

Lower power - but high torque figures - usually means that your engine torque is reducing as engine revs are rising. A freer-flowing intake and exhaust might help with correcting that...

 next on the list. Surprisingly, by the way the car acts on the road, the torque loss at higher revs is not very noticable at all, power stays all the way on up there.

I am making a couple of tweeks to the breathing before the AMD RR day so i'll see if that improves anything.
