I might have to consider the N249 bypass, as most people seem quite satisfied with it. The only reason that I haven't done it so far is that the car is running great and I didn't imagine it would make an improvement?

Out of interest JamJay, do you run on V-Power fuel?

It's worth doing it. I was a bit dubious about it to begin with, thinking that the car runs well as it was and I don't like fiddling with things like that. But I am extremely glad that I did, the car feels so much better now that the power delivery is more instant and constant. The DV sounds a bit different, a little more chatter on low revs but nothing to shout about really so if you like your DV quiet, you don't need to worry too much :)

I run V-Power or Tesco 99ron if I happen to need petrol while doing my shopping. V-Power pays, I have a Shell V-Power club card and I am due £8 in money off fuel vouchers this month.

Hmm, might have to attempt this sometime and do some testing. Would be interesting to see the difference. I'd have to dig up the guides though as I'd probably plug into the wrong place otherwise, lol.

Check out these threads here, it should help you out. Really simple job to do and easy to put back to OEM if you need. I took mine for a spin last night in the nice cool temps and it pulled really hard and snapped my neck back into the seat. The power kept on coming but I had to stop because I smacked 70mph on the carriageway in a few seconds.
