While the cars being rebuilt ive just been doing some boring stuff lately,Cosmetic parts really to make it abit cleaner and easyer to work with....
Also Sorted out at awesomeGTi for my Trail map to be Put on which is all good
...The only Real Descion ive had to make over the last few days is about the Forge actutor i desided to take it off and get it running 101% Then Refit it as i know il have all the issue Iron'ed out...Looking at around 2 more full working days and it should be ready to start....O and i bought a new timing belt kit even though i fitted one in december 09 it was just for peice of mind as everything else is new...
Ive still got my de-cat on too which is staying on till i can get the £££ for the pipeworxs downpipe with my Mods what should i expect to see i know i can go stage 2 without a dp...But wont see the extra gain..

It's starting to look more and more like my bay bay by day lol hope you have used high temp paint on the engine cover as it will lift and flake mine looks a state at the min
Not sure what the 2k paint actually is temp wise..il find out looks good though
nearly there then mate and the mani looks good i did mine last year and charge pipe so you shud ne back on the road at the weekend

Well ive sold the Forge actuator to my mate with a S3 and ive spent the money on A strut brace,Powerflex DogBone Mount,Powerflex Bushes,s3 lower strut brace want it to be abit more sharper and i suppose 300ft-lb would be enough

yup Thats right i will get another Actuator in the future but i want it to be able to handle the power...

Pffttt what a day...
Started At 10am and just finished @ 8pm....Im ****ed but must admit we've had very good day we got the full exhaust on With De-cat and spacer,K04 Turbo & Manifold,Both Engine Mounts,Dogbone mount Along with the sump which i truely hate....Also what a utter **** Design the Engine mounts are..FFS
We got half way through the Sequence 2 Stage when torqueing the Headdown and my Ripe Bit snapped FFS Ive only used it once so that has put me back abit till i can source another to complete torqueing the head...So tomorrow will consist of Inlet manifold,All Ancillarys And wiring the **** part of the build basically Once thats done...It fit the Timing belt and alternator belt & fill her up with fluids and start her up...

And Our Toy which we got on Monday Nissan 300sx 3.0 v6 twin turbo & Manuel Box too needs alot of work But plans are to Repair all sills and panels and full respray then Replace all the Bushes and suspension then change the turbos and fill TBE and FMIC..
My Mechanic is teaching me how to weld too...getting pretty good at it now but needs alot more practise i wouldnt mind making my own 3'' tip out of stainless steel

First Job Of the day was the engine mounts & dog bone mount...I desided to try the Powerflex ones which awesome Were supplying And also the Ths Ones for the side mounts..I couldnt believe the difference how stiff the engine is now comparted to the OEM mounts and bushers feels alot nicer...
Once that was done Timing belt went on and all Timed up along with the Inlet manifold,gaskets and all Sensors ....So thats the **** part done...
All thats left todo is finish of torqueing Head,New camshaft plug,Oil & Water,Alternator Belt and fit Coilpack loom and charge pipe brackets....
So all being well should be ready to start for 2morro night all being well if not it will be monday when im at work ..

After 10 weeks in the dark...It has seen sunlight for the 1st time today and its running spot on but there is a gremlin that wont go away hence why i couldnt pick the car up tonight..
When we was doing the build we snapped the plug off the cam sensor,So then i remebered i had a Old Cam sensor plug of the Ibiza cupra So i just used that...but with the Loom being a different colour its a ******* to match up...So till i have sorted this i can't bring her home..
My mate took a quick pic on his cameraphone so sorry for the bad quailty:
