Yeah its easyer to created a 3'' tip in full stainless than to do it in Bungs and silicone...ive u2u admin about it again see what they say...
 
Just got in from having my blueflame catback exhaust fitted and i was shocked at how much better quality the bf was compared to the milltek they had there...Plus the fitment was awesome..

Anyway all fitted and done but was dispointed at how quite it was..untill i had done 30miles i can't hear my self speak now the noise is immense...Roll on De-cat :D

Just seems to get louder and louder the more miles i do this normal?
 
Ive just bought a new Maf And some new vac Piping to replace all the old rubber crap..Im also Ditching my K04 samco tip as im getting my exhuast mate to make me up a 3'' Tip right down to turbo...

He's going to make a jig for the 225 engine but im waiting on a reply from mork/mark for permission to great a feeler...

After speaking with the bank (wife) im going to buy a bdm k04 hybrid and get rs tuning to map it,i didnt think id want to be doing it bt i cant resist,im not going to fit the forge actutor due to the horror stories im hearing.im going to be running it on my stage one map with my magnex de-cat till i can source a downpipe.it wont happen over night but thats the route im going down.
 
Oh my god please don't waste money on a hybrid k04 they are **** . Two of my mates have them both run the same power as a stage 2 lcr , k03 hybrid yes but k0s makes no power ur be lucky to see 290bhp if that don't do it danny

Don't do it Danny, it doesn't seem to be worth it.
Either go Stage 2 with all the mods or BT

This is it...Ive Spoke to john too and he said he'd rather Meth it than Hybrid it im along way from that as yet but it would be something to look in too i know its expensive £800+ for the unit...

Everyones keeps sayin Stage 2 it then you can think about Playin with it...Would Meth Be a Decent Idea?Ive got Brakes(discs & pads),ARBs & struts braces todo yet but i woundnt mind the 290-300bhp mark I really woundnt...

If i went BT id got for a GT28 this time round but im sure i woundnt do that but im in no rush...
 
That's a better idea mate I would go for stage 2 bit by but get a 3inch down pipe water meth before the map as well as all the other bits and bobs as for BT a gt28 will be good but depends on your money how long you will keep the car etc . I would stage 2 it ur be happy then with BT the engines can take 350 ish but then you have hassel etc of internals don't need to tekl you this as you no with the ibiza , but I think stage to meth 3" DP etc should make around the 290bhp mark if not more , jabba do a map that incorperates the meth can produce 30%more I think some thing I wish they done when I had mine mapped . Oh and you may need a clutch mine was ok for 2 ish years but over 300ft/lb they start to strain , if you think your want BT in the long run save for one now and forget stage 2 just get the bits ready
 
Yeah I don't want to Run before i can walk tbh....So i need todo other bits first im more than certain i won't go BT again but you never Know with me.
Il Stage 2 it with a few other bits and see how it is I know johns was erm quick but he had a forge actuator on it..Which ive already got here its just the rods im worried about..
 
Sounds like a great idea mate you won't need rods till 350 bhp so your fine until BT , I had stage 2 strait away well put on all bits thrn had the map done its good and every thing on the car standard will handle the power increase . Do brakes etc after your not going to kill your self with 290ish bhp after all its not an on off switch :) , sure your love stage 2

Skorchio got 293BHP on a KO4 and watermeth. Of course he had full range of mods to compliment.

In short, the answer is yes its worth it.

Dan the thing is neither of them had supporting mods. They both didnt have DP and both of them didnt do that bypass that helps with the power dropping at 5.5k. A good example of a hybrid ko4 is wild willy...he has 310ish bhp and his power graph is amazing.
