Oddly Willie,

When in 5th & 6th gear and when holding boost i can hear a screaming noise im sure its the turbo but it sounds like its dumping from somewere,It might just be me though but its a weird noise to be fair..

Also this is the code i keep getting over and over:

17705 - Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check D.V.!)
P1297 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
 
See if you can get a loan of a different DV.
This noise could be you having a partially opened actuator and would account for the actual not reaching the requested.
A Forge adjustable actuator would solve this problem;)
 
airflow is low for that boost... you tried another maf to compare?
turbo is flat out on n75 duty cycle..
what are fuel trims looking like on 032

The Funny thing is willie a while back i bought a forge actuator but i still havent fitted it due to the storys of people spitting out there rods..il see if the dv is faulty and see how much forge can sort me out for one..

yeah i can't understand why my G/s is really low?Could it be a tired maf or something?I get paid on the 20th so il get a bosch unit then as i can get them at a trade price..
I Have'nt yet done a 032 logs as of yet but do i still do them in 4th or can 3rd do?

So the turbo is defo working to produce the boost so like you've lot have set boost leak or actuator..Im getting Jake to pressure test the system on the cupra to see if theres anything leaking and to try some other things too..
 
Righto

Been to panelcare this afternoon to see jake to smoke test the vac system,We found 3 boost leaks 2 on the N75 and the one under the Inlet manifold which shares the crank Breathing system Irrc..

Anyway We've fixed the N75 leaks but we couldnt fix the one under the manifold which is really hissing lol..Its the one that is a ''Y'' peice ...

The car just Pulls Sooooo much harder now i was really suprised but its blowing Smoke out the back still Even after a 15mile drive home...It has a blue Colour to it and smells abit like oil....But the more i drive it the more it goes a way ( i hope)

Next is to fix the Pipe and Buy a new Maf sensor then relog it...But defo has improved alot nice and hard feel to it..

Mine done exactly the same under the manifold mate around 15 quid for the parts from tps if I remember :) and easy to fit lil bit fiddly

Been driving it for a while now and the smoke is almost gone but its still there...Just looking at the crank breather going in to the tip..Seems to be kinked in away...

when i really rev it i get very little blue smoke and the same on boost...
 
From tps they mention a pump it's not really a pump as such it's under the mani on the right hand side if ur looking at the wind screen .looks like a big t piece you can use your old one if urs isn't broken as it's quite dear around 16quid for that bit the other bits of hose are cheap ish Dont think mine used to smoke but hope fully ur problem goes
 
Its worth buying the forge ones and replacing the crappy oem rubber ones then you know its done properly with silicone ;) blue smoke doesnt sound good tho
 
Im Looking at the Crank Breather going in to the tip as it looks kinked ive tryed to undo kink it but i cant do it...its odd gonna see if i can sort it..

It could be that, you wont know till you sorted it tho
 
Its more like a air reservoir than a pump

Just Sorted it (i think) Seems the rubber on the mushroom Oil part is Knackered it is a very soft rubber when its gets warm..So ive cabled tied it to the tip as the weight on the Mushroom was making to kink...Started it up and rev'd it and smoke has gone..

Seems the cranks back pressure was making it smoke...il keep a eye on it mind see how goes..
 
glad we found something atleast. these cars use one of the crappest vac/pvc systems ever not to mention there made from cheap plastic,
