Oh dear!!!

The first 3 years of my LCR's life was spent getting washed at least once a day.
I recon I had the cleanest bit of street in the town.
I had it bad!!!!! BIG TIME
I recon I spent £800 on detailing products.

Try www.polishedbliss.co.uk

These guys are ex Seat guys who REALLY know there products and techniques.
There also very good friends of mine.

What polisher are you using?
G220??
I too have the Menzerna range, very very good products.
These even manage to de swirl my B7 Audi with my DA polisher, it has VERY tough top coat.

Good luck with this obsession

If your car flat black (Ebony) or metallic?

I would drop AG SRP from that list as few of those products are already filler heavy and you have mild cut compounds in the Menzerna pack. Non netalic black is quite soft in comparison to the metalic black so start of with light polish and light polishing pad.

From trying to de swirl my Ebony LCR its a pig to do with a DO polisher.

Hit it hard to get the best results, and 'dinna be feart' (translation, don't be scared, lol)

So what you saying Jay White Elite pad with Menzerna Final Finish Polish P085RE? As we did have this planned.

wash And Dry
Clay bar
Orange Pad With Menzerna Intensive Polish
Wipe Over with a Micro Fibre
White Pad with Menzerna Final Finish Polish P085RE
Then Poorboys black Hole on another white pad or by hand,
finish off with collinte 476 or Nattys wax

Aye you could have had your roll cage by now if you hadn't been mad about detailling! Do you still do it?

Polished bliss are good but charge an arm and a leg now compared to what they used to be when they were first established.

Good luck with the detail Danny! I always like seeing a detalled black car :)

Get used to a DA first before moving onto Rotary, there are different techniques required for both.

What you said in the above sounds spot on - I would change the Intensive polish to Final Finish 106FA.

Anyway can detail a car with a machine its the people who get least amount of lacquer with same results thing win ;)

Thanks jay..

my Da Hasnt come yet but my mate is doing it with his rotory as he's uses it day in day out at work....So i shouldnt use the really abrasive polish first just the final polish...It says On the bottle 3/10 cutting & 10/10 polishing...the intensive one says 7/10 cutting & 4/10 polishing..

after receiving some new products i thought id try a panel see if it was worth a punt or not...

ive quickly done the wing but the finish product was outstanding....plus the polih, wax & Bh smelt goodnuff to eat..
