Looking for a bit of advice bros and hoes, over the last few months I have been getting a lot of work on the side (being a joiner) and the wage is making it worth while (on top of my current full time job) but im wanting to set up on my own..but I'd need to part with the Leon to find me a really good van and to have enough ££££ to start fresh..now I know I've put a lot of effort in too the car but I pondering what todo.i know I'd make 7k+ back as its all brand new...I'd rebuild the engine back up and sell that on...

I just feel that it's time to spread my legs and see how it goes...

What does everyone think..remember I have a mortgage,2x kids and a wedding in 5months time..

Don't get me wrong if this wouldn't of happend (belt wise) id look at keeping it.but tbf my future has a lot todo with this..

I can't wait to get my bits from Issam,I'm sure I will feel differently once I see all the bits and it going back together ...

Put the option is still there, working for my self will be a must in the near future but il need to sleep on it more...like everyone has said I will feel different once it's roadworthy and I'm driving it

You don't need a 'really good' van to be a joiner. Just something that's good enough to chuck crap in surely?

Once you've raped the taxman effectively, you can buy something a little better.

Most start up's don't have big outlays initially.

You can get an old banger van very cheap mate, failing that dependant on the size of bits your carrying get a big old estate car and rip everything out of it.
It might be an idea to start getting ready and after start up after the wedding as its another cost out of the way and maybe save some buffer money
