Differences between 1.4TDi air intake and a Cupra intake

i've ordered a Cupra airbox and intake from my main stealer to fit to my 1.4TDi.... now i've looked for a green cotton filter n got one ordered but i'm still waiting on my airbox!

What are the main differences between the Cupra intake and the one already fitted to my car????

I know there is some difference as the filters are different sizes.

You have got it in one, Cupra is bigger size

ye i thought the Cupra one was a bit bigger!

Anythin else other than the size, obviously it takes more air in

It's a tube - there's not a lot more it can do except be bigger!!

how much was the intake for the pd160? i want one.......

Pretty sure the intake tube has increased to £49+vat and the adaptor is roughly £13+vat

Yep, that's what I was quoted.

Get one secondhand. People always selling them when they return their TDi to standard. Not the kind of bit that can wear out. At worst you'll get one with a few scratches.

Keep an eye on the 'For Sale' section. Or put something in the 'Wanted' bit.

Normally pick one up for around £25 (plus/incl P&P).
