Double din cupra r

going for a double din head unit i hope is the part still availble from seat to convert my dash any help would be great on this

I think I read a thing on here a while ago and the double din adapter thing from main dealer is £200 or £300. I remember it was extortionate.

Think there was a guide to fitting one on here too

I would go to somewhere like Auto Sounds who will custom make one

looks like i will have to part with a few quid to put a double din in my leon i thought i could keep my centre console but looks like i cant

console and fascia is still available, done mine a few months ago

only thing is you lose you ash tray and cig lighter, so i modified mine and made a cig lighter holder, bit of work but looks the part

looked on that website but its in german and im struggling a bit lol any chance of some help bonzy...cheers. I want a double din dash console for the new pioneer head units with the backs, (not like a headrest screen) but am unsure which one does the trick. also I see that it has space for the vagcom can you relocate the cupra r vagcoms then?

The double din console is still alot of money from the german site, the facia is not expendsive any way about £20 ish, i have been looking for one for a while, i think the best place to look is the scrappy as alot of the v5 toledos had the sat nav so theres a chance of finding one.

just got all the parts to do the double din conversion now took 2 weeks to arrive from seat not bad priced at £210 quid got the kenwood dnx 5220bt to go in as well which should like nice will post photos up tommorow when it all gets fitted

I can't wait to see these pictures as I'm planning to more or less exactly the same mod to my LCR. Could you post the part numbers of what you had to order from Seat please.

Did you get in installed???

I have a double din console... but the seat sat nav is poooooo as getting a quality mp3 connection (searching) isnt available or cost near to what this unit is...!!!

Get some pickys up if you have them... and any issues with fitting it
