Quick question... im seriously considering this unit... BUT... after speaking to a mate of mine he raised a possible issue. This may concern all After market head units but as this is the one i want can you let me know if there is any loss in sound quality.

The standard speaker system in the leon is great, has plenty of bass and sounds great. When i turn down the standard stereo in the leon you can still hear the bass in the background. Now i have no idea but it sounds as if there might be a sub in the car... somwhere...?

So... with after market stereos having preouts for driving subs etc... will replacing my std Sat Nav stereo with a after market head unit change the quality of sound and make it sound Tinny and require further investment to bring it back to what i have???

Can people with after market stereos give comparisons???

Fitting of this unit... was it a straight swap?... as the bezel around this unit makes the unit seem smaller than the existing one???
