Dpf pressure sensor

Hi I have the 170hp TDI cglb engine and noticed today that there are 2 rubber hoses that come off the dpf pressure sensor the thicker one goes to the dpf and the other one is a short piece that doesn't go anywhere is this correct? thanks

Thats good to know,, got the dash lit up and going to change the sensor tomorrow (asssuming the weather is clear)
