cheers mate, my mate with a allard egr removal pipe gets shudder when he turns his off, will i experience this at all or do you ?

cup of tea, after about 3 hours lol, i think i could get the egr valve off, but dont fancy tampering with something to do with the turbo, is there any pics of this??

how comes my mate gets shuddering when he has a egr removal pipe, is it cause that plug ( anti shudder valve) pops back in when turned off is removed?

after seeing how full of cr4p yours is after 20k, i'm seriously scared to see mine after 73k.
think work tomorrow is cancelled and out comes the tool kit me thinks.
just hope i can put back together ready for monday !!

also was it a quick job? (4hrs or less) and was it easy?
i ask as i'm on call and may need acr, plus i am so completely thick/stupid/dumb at this sort of stuff
I aint done mine yet. Those pics were not my EGR.
From what I have seen and heard though an EGR can be cacked up in no time at all.
It would take a hell of a long time for a UK EGR to get that clogged up as our fuel is lot higher quality than US diesel.

Looking back, cone filter... nah not Chris's.
The EGR can be turned down with Vag Com on the earlier1.9ltr ECU's, but some later ones are not able to be adjusted. The 2.0ltr ECU also cannot be turned down with Vag Com.
Still waiting for hose #4.
I told SFS to hold my other hoses till #4 is ready, that way I only have to pay postage once.
Got my brakes to do in the meantime
