hi was out in my seat leon cupra tonite and had window down as it was very sunny and warm when i activated the electric window switch the window jammed was unable to close so when i got home i took of outer cover of door and found the wire had twisted inside the internal window so its not operating at all now managed to get window closed just wanted to know how to get at the internal frame of door to carry out repair

To get at the workings, you need to take off the plastic cover, disconnect all the wiring and then remove the inner metal frame.
To get this off you need to disconnect the door release mechanism. Its just a hook type arrangement so pretty simple.
You should now be able to see the window and the metal criss cross pulley.
That will need to be replaced. I thnk they are about 35 quid from the stealer.
Fitting is quite simple, but it is very tight so be careful.
