155 is more realistic, although it's not unknown for VAG powerplants to give out a little more than the official figure.

Exhaust, intake and some cams, maybe then you are looking at ~170, I would guess.

Day off tomorow, might try clean the mud out of the rear arches. Stop the condensation in my side repeaters and maybe lower the car a bit more  then might be going to the Portsmouth meet. All this depending on the weather of course.

Definetely worth cleaning the mud out of the rear arches. Ive did that the last 2 days. I'm just about to post up some pics of my progress, they are both done and there is a big difference.

Mine was rolling roaded at 162Bhp which was just with a BMC CDA on it.

Will have to find my graph and put it up

It definitely a big but fun step up from a 1.4 - but not massively fast to be honest

Space your rears out (or get some 9J) - then it will look PHAT!

Do like how clean the front looks without fogs though, and the debadged grill is making me want to swap mine onto my car this weekend!!!!

Yeah i think the front looks very plain and simple which is what i like. I think when i get my valver i will keep the original seat grill on there though.

Quick update, sideskirts expected within the next week. But got MOT on 25th and i still havnt got my horn and airbag light fixed. Thinking about getting an omp steering wheel.

Ordering up some pressed plates after christmas aswell.

Also there is one thing that has always bothered me since buying the car, that is the front surround that the grill fits into. It has always had a piece missing. I am going to try fibreglass and fill the hole.

Looks good. Thought you were jacking the car up using an elaborate arrangement of bricks and planks of wood system for a minute though

Haha nah i couldn't be arse to sit there holding the sideskirt in place so i rigged up an extremely complicated and eloborate holding system out of bricks and peices of wood. Then whilst that was doing its job i went in for a nice cup of tea.
