engine cover

Hi all I'm about to start on the first of my upgrades, usual ones air filter,dv and tip . However I have read on a few message boards that once the dv and tip are upgraded the engine cover no longer fits, is that the case? The reason I ask is I want to keep the standard look.
By the way my car is a 1.8t cupra mk1 with the AUQ engine dont know if that makes a difference?

I had to cut a bit out of my engine cover but thats because I have a Forge TIP and it doent fit very well

I've seen your pics and to be honest the work you have done looks fab! even the cut out looks like it should be there .
Is it just the forge tip that causes the problem with the clearance and not the dv itself?

I got the Forge TIP and Forge DV......I think my TIP is from a faulty batch to be honest as other people with the Forge ones have had problems with them.
