Few quick questions...

Hi,

I'm still a newbie to turbos etc and still trying to get my head around it all.

I've been looking up on intercoolers and the FMIC is quite abit out of budget for me.

Been looking at universal intercoolers for the mk3 and they dont come with hoses etc. Where can I get the hoses from? I want a polished pipe to go round the left hand side of the engine etc.

Are the universal coolers actually any good or am i wasting my time?

i bought a intercooler from universal intercoolers £215 delivered with forum discount was a complete kit with hoses ,piping,jubulie clips etc found a nice piece of kit for the money.

if your wanting the charge pipe to go around the side of the engine and down by washer bottle ou want a charge pipe from a s3 or leon cupra or if your good at welding you can always make your own

no came with everything but i ended up with 1 metal pipe joiner missing but ramg him up and he sent me one out same day

Ive got the same one...for the money you cant really complain. I tweaked my pipework along with a couple of other people on here. id buy some better jubilie clips aswell as the ones with the kit are cr@p and tend to break...if you have a search on here there loads of info and also a fitting guide...
