One of the Best mods I;ve seen so far imo.

Just wish SEAT had thought about what they were doing when they mixed the honey comb in the lower bumper with the slats at the bonnet end so to speak.

Here's an idea, why not get "cupra R" done at stick it to the thin metal strip ? (shoot me down if its a stupid idea guys, I also drive a Ulysee MPV as well as me Cupra R !!)

Looks very well I must say...the total honeycomb stands out far better now good job!!

From reading what you said on how to make it I can see jus how hard is to make the total honeycomb in order to make it match especially with the slant but excellent job i must say!!

I'm a bit of a fan of the 'S' being there myself but it all depends on what you think urself but I do really like what you have done...like someone else mentioned you could stick a 'CUPRA' badge to match the boot over the black plastic bit to try and cover it would be an idea but your car is your car so don't let us talk you into something lol!! Looking at that I would love to have something very similar to what you have only with the 'S' on the honeycomb and maybe the 'CUPRA' badge there to fill the gap would be nice in theory me thinks lol!!

But excellent job keep up the good work!!

Thanks very much guys!

Yeah well as its been said the blank strip doesnt look so bad in the flesh, as its in line with the bonnet line and so gets lost abit.. it gives the car a whole more aggressive stance without the "S" Hopefully i will finish and spray the de-badge slated version i have started, for someone else to have the look!

P.S. the plates where made by a company on the internet, cant tell you the place as the missus brought them for me, but will see if she remembers... (highly unlikely, remembers where that dress she saw 10 years ago thats she wanted, but ask her for where she got my plates from 6 months ago and well.. you can guess! lol)

So how much does the grill cost and is it easy to fit? I've got an annoying hole on just the right side of my current one (courtesy of a big stone I imagine) but I'm going to have to replace the whole thing aren't I?

I posted this to this thread earlier today which is why it popped up again but the post kind of got lost at the end of page 2 so I don't think anyone noticed it  Basically just after a rough guide to costs/ease of replacing the honeycomb grill on my LC if anyone would be so kind?

P.S. I like those alloys Slick - looking to get some for myself, what are they and did they cost??

Sorry pas, didnt see your post!

if you mean a replacement i think its about MY03 honeycomb grill, £17 with the S in it.. but the one i have made is a custom one and is for a Cupra R bumper not the MY03 bumper that you have...
As for ease, 4 clips and one screw to replace. but as i said, that when its standard for standard swap!

As for wheels, thanks and there SW Alloys, called Mesh Black 19" for just under £1300 for them!
