Forge Side Mount intercooler... is it really worth it?

Found a cheapish Forge side mount intercooler, is it really worth buying one, or the difference from oem wont be worth it? Its 27 mm x 5 mm x 15 mm bigger than the OEM cooler.
Pressure loss reduction: 2psi
Air temp reduction: 6-9 Deg.C

what do you reckon? im aiming for 230 hp with a Forge TIP, 007p dump valve, stage 1 map, decat. Will that intercooler help?

no

its cheaper to go with an ebay front mount or save up for a proper FMIC

EDIT - Technically it will help, but you can get better intercoolers for a similar price

thing is im looking at giving £250 for this intercooler lol

The problem with the side mount is the lack of air running over it, so if you go for it cutting some kind of grill in the wheel arch behind it will give better flow.
FMIC will give much better results full stop.

You could get a universal fmic and all the pipe work off the bay for that.

Or fit the LCR twins you can get the full set up for under £200, this is a worth while mod on the cupra.
