Well i have been thinking about doing the front aero wiper conversion from the Lupo Gti to the mk3 cupra for sometime now, but the price of £80ish was putting me off just for them.

What would you say if there was an much much easier solution to this an it only costs £28 all in.

Straight blade swop! no swopping arms! :-o

(Not sure if anyone knows already so posted anyways)
(Done a search before hand ;) )

Look like the same as mine from Renault for about £22. The part number is on the forum for them. They are a standard bosch blade replacement for the arms.

weren't some folk having lift off problems with the them?and some of the leon owners had to cut to fit.
i'm certainly thinking getting soem for my vrs ,but that spoiler on the wiper is there for a reason ,so not too sure

I think the people who had to cut the Leon ones had 19" on the passenger side. I measured my standard blade as 18.5" so I bought the 18" for the passenger side. Fits just right leaving about 8mm between the end of the blade and the trim at the edge of the windscreen. Tried mine (Valeo) on my way to work tonight, 70mph and no problems with lift off - seem to work very well :)

Can i just say... yes replacement wiper arms were a lot of money and I had to cut one blade to size..

...but genuine aero wipers really are very good, essential if you do lots of driving (in england where it always seems to rain 'grey sh*t') and they do clear the screen even at speed in heavy rain, or at low speed with minimal rain and maximum mud and grit.

Lol @ me being too eager.

I just bought some el cheapo aero ones on ebay to fit an Octavia, which has the same wiper sizes when i should have waited an hour and bought them from that site.

Nevermind, if they work they were 10 quid cheaper than the ones from wiperblades.co.uk.

EDIT - Have you got the wipers on the wrong side or is it me? 21 for drivers side and 19 for passenger isnt it?

why not just put some rain-x (or new halfords equivalent is supposed to be better) on the screen every couple of weeks and then you dont need to worry.. the faster you go the better it works !!
