Front brake pad fitting

Front Brake pad fitting on an Ibiza Cupra 20VT.

Does anyone know if you need the wind back tool to get the piston back into the front calipers (like on the rear calipers), or is it the normal way of just using a G-Clamp?

you dont have to, but when i did mine i found the wind back tool made it quite easy, but i think a gclamp or similar will do the job just as well.

Yeah, g-clamp is fine. A small bit of wood to get a bit more clamping surface area helps a bit as well.

I'm thinking of getting some 20 groove discs (£110 for 280mm discs & green stuff pads) from www.CRN-UK.com - does anyone know if they're any good or not?

As usual, best option seems to be to get grooved discs and pads from Badger5. Been loads of post about discs and pads lately, just do a quick search-aroo.

Dont get EBC's there shite. Black Diamond,Tarox ect are a better option mate and Ferrodo DS2500 pads
