An amazing job you’re doing on this. Think of it as building a brand new car and not spending so much in a mk1 Leon.
Do you actually race them or is it a track day toy?

I do race . I have a saxo at the moment.. you may laugh lol but it's surprises people. I can lap brands quicker than your average type r ..
The leon is going yo be a race car. It does look good In the pics but up close it's ok.... give it time there will be battle scars lol.

Eveningall. Had another afternoon I the workshop... fitted a few bits that turned up this week.... but then also a few more problems... first of all fitted the stud conversion in to the front hubs

All looks good from there. But behind... the thickness of the discs and now it's all rose jointed the lower arm joint now it hitting the disc

It's there with some force and the discs are floating... And are as far away as possible... so back to eBay. I have ordered a pair of 3mm spacers to put between the disc bell and the hub flange. So that will stop the contact there.. BUT as if you thought it would be that simple. Th8s will now off set the dis and now means the caliper bracket will be in the wrong place so when built I will have to measure and machine edge brackets to suit ...
Also the rear shocks have come back after being sorted by GAZ shocks.. they have been amazing with the build specs the quickness and the modifications I have wanted.

It's starting to look nice from different angles now lol. Even the front as well

That was me done with some tidying up too.. so sat back and had a coffee and just looked at it with hundreds of ideas running threw my head and they all costing thousands.... but the view was good tho

Some parts added there mate, what exactly has caused issue with the track rod end clashing with the disc though?
What part is wrong to cause them to be so close?
Also, where have you sourced the hub flange spacers from as I may need some for the rear of mine if my new brake set up doesn't align correctly.

I think it's the over all thickness of the discs has caused most of the problem.. but then I think the rose joints are bigger than the original lower ball joint set up.
I have just ordered 2mm 2.5mm and 3mm wheel spacers that I am just gonna cut down to put behind the bell and see how it spaces up. Then I will get made some proper spacers to fit.
What brake set up have you gone for ?

I'll look see if I have any photos..

Also got the caliper carrier off now just need that crane this week to rescue your other mount.
