I had a H&R Cup Kit fitted on Friday and now when I'm turning corners slowly e.g. pulling out of a road or driving around a car park I'm getting a knocking noise from the rear left and front left wheels.

When it happens its not a constant knock but just a one off knock.

What could it be?

strange that both front and rear are knocking at the same time? it might seem a bit random but have you checked how tight your wheel nuts are?

You made sure all the bolts are done up tight?

My FK bolt came 1/4 of a turn loose - and was enough for the damper to move very very slightly - and was a rear D/S.

Once it was tightened, it went away :)

As for front - you checked its not too low, and hence fowling on the ARB?

Suppose I should check the wheel nuts. wouldnt of thought they would of left one loose :s I hope not anyway!!

uhhh not a clue Pabs!! You mean one on top of the strut came loose? The front I wouldnt have a clue to be honest however the kit was made for my car so it shouldnt be? and theres loads of people with it.

I thought the H&R kit were coilovers, hence adjustable? Now I've realised they are not :(

On the rear, at the bottom of the damper, there is a bolt that goes through the damper, with a nut the other side. Mine was very, ever-so-slightly loose. Caused an annoying knocking. It was possible to very slightly twist the damper when the car was in the air.

1/4 of a turn of the spanner - all sorted.

i had this really bad turned out the coil on the bootom of my fk had come loose:( i still get a slight knocking now tho
