yeah but your just.....i have no reply lol...im only going for plastic welding again as ive had it before, was done to perfection, and didnt hurt my wallet too much!

I don't want to seem like I'm just disagreeing with everthing you say but! :p

The fusor is far less time consuming, sets like concreate, has no heat distortion, no chance of contamination, is finer than any plstic filler avalable and would be a hell of a lot easier..........but if the garage have never heard of it I guess you can't have it done :cartman:

Was actually trying to save your wallet :D

Oit! I was reading! :p

I like the front bumper. I've smoothed various bits on my car with varying success. Tbh, If I were you, I would smooth the front how the CCUK guys have done for you, but look for a s/h FR rear bumper, and cupra sideskirts...and hate to say it, but LCR splitter?

Just a thought...

i cant understand the logic of holding the front of the car on with 2 less bolts and it making no difference?

Im wondering if these two bolts help pull the bonnet back into place around the sides. worth trying before going ahead. Is there a way of fitting a colour coded cap flush over the bolt?

It def doesn't effect the bonnet at all and it makes no difference because there are 2 more beefy bolts down near the fogs, 4 clips on top of grille, 4 7mm on the sides and 3 10mm underneith....not to mention the 10-20 screws down the side :)

It'll be solid even without them :)

To be honest, I've seen all variations on all types on Leon, it's fairly confusing which is which. I've seen FR+ kits on LCR's and LCR kits on FR+'s. So is yours a LCR or FR+ Adam?

Sorry my mistake i ment the sides of the bumper not bonnet. The clips that it slots into... could the bolts pull it home? Just a thought.

Not really its either located into the guides or not, the guides fix to bumper and are located by 4 7mm bolts in wing so won't effect them.

I do see what your saying and most other bumpers it would be right but on a leon they seem to have loads of little fixings rather than the couple of major ones :)

An FR bumper? there 100-150 second hand [when I was looking] and they buldge out at the sides to match the lines of the side skirts.

All the mk1 skirts are the same no matter what model.

You dont need the Cupra/FR bumpers to look right with the skirts as the R bumpers dont really come out at the bottom....although I think the R bumpers are deeper.

New the skirts and fittings are around £200 although they sometimes come up second hand :)
