I have a 2005 Leon Cupra R and im sure ive got heated mirrors because i saw steam rising from them the other day, but i dont seem to be able to find a switch that activates them

they are turned on when your rear window di-mister switch is on.

Would my 05 plate Leon FR (petrol) have these? The mirrors are electric (folding) but I have no idea if they're heated or not! Guess I can try in the morning.

You can feel them get warm with your hand, so the best test is to just touch them when you've had the rear demister on for a bit. Easy test and almost 100% effective. They don't get hot though, and it's not quick, but you can feel it

I discovered this at the weekend also but found out someone had replaced the drivers mirror with a non heated cheap replacement grr good find though!

My 51 plate TDI SE 110 has electric folding mirrors but they don't seem to be heated. Is this going to be one of these random spec level things from Seat or has a previous owner taken the cheaper option when replacing the mirror glasses?
