Help buying cupra R

My last LCR had very little red if any on it and it wasnt showing any sign of being worn.

I love down south and all the LCRs are miles away from me!!!

If anyone is looking for a LCR im selling mine.ive owned it nearly 9 years,54 plate in red,66 thousand miles totally standard full history 9 months MOT,cam belt/water pump done 2009 and 2014 only ever used OEM parts £4250.

The car gets driven daily, it actually is my wifes, she walks to work and only uses it evening and weekends.

Mate hertfordshire seems to be the worst place to try and pick up an LCR, took me about 5 weeks to find one i liked and evetually went for a high miled one i found in st.albans all the others have been over 100miles away, a company to look out for on ebay is oxford motor company you can find them at ebay.co.uk/ usr/theoxo nmotorco?_trksid=p2047675.l2559 they seem to get LCR's in every week or so!

Cheers for that mate, I'll keep looking. Yeah it's very dry down here and when they do pop up, appear to be very overpriced. Have you had any dealings with Oxford motor company?

Yeah I went down to view a red lcr they had that was exactly as they described, drove it and felt the clutch was slipping and they were very professional, said they'd get it done and uprated before point of sale! Only reason I didn't buy was because I found another red one that was unmodified.

You need to travel! I drove to London and back in one day for mine!

I agree you need to travel. You are unlikely to find a bargin or the dream car on your door step. I don't have much free time at the moment to spend a day going to look. Closest one to me that looks decent is 95miles and that's auto trader miles so is more like 110 miles

you have to be prepared to travel for any car, what's a day out of your life to get what you really want? i recently flew to glasgow to pick my new car up and drove it back, long day but was worth it.

I'm putting mine up for sale soon if there is any interest
