HELP; Cruise control.....

Hi Everyone,
My 05 FR TDi has original equipment cruise control on the stalk but it has stopped working?
Has anyone else had the same problem? If so, is it a known fault and easy fix or should I take it to my local Seat dealer?

VAG-com will help to find out what the problem is.

On my car it was the clutch pedal switch. Others have had the brake pedal switch fail. Unusual behaviour from the brake lights would indicate the latter.

If the brake lights are working , my money would be on the clutch pedal

Mine did this a few months ago - it was the brake switch. A cheap part and not too difficult to fit - do a search...
