help finding front strut brace

i have fitted the S3 one to my LCR. just had to trim a slight bit off the brace where the bonnet lifter fits!!! other than that it fits straight on!!! doesnt catch the engine cover at all!!! took me about 45 mins to fit.

any pics of what you had to do to the brace to get it past the bonnet lifter?

what did you use? a file? angle grinder? sandpaper?
