Hi there,
I think that my headlight HIDs need adjusting. The headlights themselves have two screws on the back of each - I take it they are to align? I know that you should use a garage somehow, but I don't know how to find out where proper alignment actually is.

Much appreciated
Dan.

Ahhh you got angel eyes.

Yeah you have to adjust them and they work diagonally to each other so the move the lens to where it's needed.
There are not up/down, left/right screws.

ideally you want a long flat piece of ground facing a wall. drive right up to the wall, put a mark (or piece of tape) on the wall directly infront of your lights, at the same height. now reverse away from the wall slowly and the light beam should gradually move below the mark you have made as you get further away.

Ask your local garage to help you and use this guidance:

The horizontal straight line needs to be between the to RED lines.

The kick up needs to be between the 0% and 2% VERTIGAL lines.

job done and not blinding anyone. Mine are actually set at the bottom line
