I've had this car for about a month now and this was just before its first PROPER clean. Looks much better now. I have to go down quite a lot of back roads for work so it gets pretty messy pretty quick

Not going to lie... I’m sweating about the current state of the Leon... just not got time right now...

I realise I should probably create a new thread. But since everyone is present. It's not exactly dirty. But some :censored: has burnt a load of painted wood. Covered both sealions in ash. Is machine polish my only option now?

I can see it now... thats doesnt look great could be burns? Assume you have tried a hand polish? If that doesnt work its going to need something like a machine polish I would think. Hard to tell without seeing it in the flesh.

Tried triple. But I was already late for work. Will clean an area and try super resin polish. Then scratchx when I get home. See if either can save me. But not going to be a half hour job. There's loads of nice cars in the area still covered in the ash. But noone seems bothered but me.

The other option might be to strip all the protection off decontaminate and clay bar it.

Either way it’s not quick. Like you I’d be raging.

I'm still trying to find out. I guess the problem of knocking on every door in the street at 9am is a lot of people are at work. But I literally did every door twice. Or maybe it's because I looked fuming noone wanted to open the door.

Wow...this must win. Is it stone/yard dust? To think I was fretting over some bird sh8 which has been dumped in the last 30 mins (I cleaned it this afternoon!) :headhurt:

I sense this happening...

I'd go the full decontamination route and see if it's under the wax and start from scratch... Do the sea lion 2 first though incase you get issues...

I think we all have a falling down moment when our cars have been compromised :)

The route to my daughters new school goes past a quarry... it’s a nightmare.
