How do you get the rear numberplate light bulb cover off

Ive been trying to remove the rear number plate light bulb cover but it wont budge ,how does it come out please?

hi m8 i had a right fight with mine i end up talking the hold lot out at first (cose i got mad :S) but get a scruw driver and put it in the bit were the glass bit meets the black and wege it it feels like its gonner brake but it dont am not sure now wich side to put the driver in cart remba but just have a play ok matey

from what i remember, if you look at the lense cover, its on the right side with a molded catch. Becareful when doing this because it did feel like it was going to snap off when i did it.
