Before I start modding my car, i'm thinking it would be wise to have it plugged into first, this vag-com machine, or equivalent, to see if there are any probs i need to address beforehand. Does anybody know how much this would cost me, and is vag-com what garages would use, or is this a DIY version of something more professional?

I bought the dv at 3.15 today in irlam. It was on the car by 5'o clock! Ive been up and and down a few roads tonight, rain n all! Quite impressed by it. Im sure its opened up the response quite some. Seems livelier.
Yes, i was in irlam all last week, so i thought it be rude not to take this opportunity to seek Awesome out. And a dv was on the agenda at some point, so why not indulge. The dv seems to have cleared a hesitation prob my car suffered on cold starts. Couldnt help but notice the very morning after it was fitted, it was 8 degree that morning though, considerably warmer than has been. Im hoping for a chilly morn this week to see if it really cleared it!
