Nope lol, been busy with work the last couple of weeks and not had the chance to test any further.

I've already moved it 2.5mm, dont really want to push it much further. Ill maybe tweak it another mm or so, to see what happens.

Reminds me ive still got the green spring in the dv, i have a yellow spare so ill fit that this afternoon. Im sure its been hissing at me on throttle.

James.... I understand the discs are for fine tuning the springs so its nearly the same as the next spring up, but not quite.

Ive got the discs and the yellow spring but dumbarse question, where are the discs fitted in the valve?

So is the 200mph LCR still on the cards ?

Not really anymore, about 4 weeks ago i bought a house so my plans have completely changed, so much so I had to put the car up for sale but was offered sh1t money for it so did the only sensible thing and kept her and bought a cheaper house!. The New gear sets are in the UK now and cheaper than expected tho.

Thats what yours needs Bill and i doubt even with your power levels you hitting that 200 mark.

190ish perhaps on clocks? 175-180mph real?

James....Didn't you say you would see about a brunters top speed day run for SCN;)

Cant see an LCR doing much more than 165 true, even songmans beast.

Carl/Scotty/Sie.......Ive been doing some logging on block 5 (kmph vs time marker). Im not sure how accurate these are but here are a couple of runs accelerating through 60mph to just a touch over 100mph....

4th gear used....

95.55..........3960rpm.....97km/h (60.28mph)
101.89........6160rpm.....161km/h (100.05mph)

60-100mph in approx 6.34secs

Another....

122.04.......3960rpm....97km/h (60.28mph)
128.56.......6200rpm....162km/h (100.67mph)

60-100 in approx 6.52secs

Strangely enough when 3rd/4th gear was used i recorded 7.52secs. Revving to 6800rpm in 3rd gear along with time of gear change is obviously slower than using 4th gear lower down and keeping it in gear.

I think i may use that idea next time im at santapod:shrug: (1st-2nd-4th) Worth a shot on the logging ive done today.

MAF still reading 220ish (OAT 14c) and boost logging still showing 1.15-1.2bar at 6500rpm.

I also had a run with nitrous and saw the 60-100 drop by approx 1.4-1.5secs

Just need to get my ass to santapod to see if these times correspond with a 1/4mile time. I cant see 0-60mph being any better than 6secs tbh.

Added hybrid/DP/CAT/Tip and FMIC since then so should be a little better:)

Ah im still having problem with random over boosting so going to GFS on sunday to try and get a new N75 valve. Not sure to get another F or try something else?

Im thinking it must be teh n75 as ive had the actuator apart and it looks fine and its random so after reading a few posts on here the n75 seems the logical issue

Yeah fitted the tuning discs earlier on.

Seems to have worked in stopping the valve leaking:)

Scotty try the J valve, its supposed to be less aggressive than the H but better than the F valve (standard)

Nice times Mitchy,
I'd like to see if you get sub 6sec 0-60 times.

deffo he should!

i think i can get sub 6 just about... at the PVW shoot out at bruntingthorpe i got a best of 6.2 on only a couple of efforts!

and the best time was with an extra person in the car! the traction there is awful! hence why i got my quickest attempt with an extra person in the car... i was also spinning in 3rd on my own... really the tarmac there in places is very bad and gritty! :(

i honestly think without doubt id get high 5s especially at pod!

Nitrous makes a big difference then! :-o Wouldn't like a 4th gear rolling start with you! ;)

I'm going to try and nick/borrow a mates laptop this week try and get some logs! I found more boost leaks on mine after noticing my gauge was only reading around 1.35Bar @ 5000rpm so will interesting to see now I think I've fixed them. The part throttle fuelling adaption was around -9.0 in block 32 which means its running slightly rich possiby from a boost leak. So I'd like to see that figure fall now!

It was on the piping underneath the inlet mani, found two split 90' elbows and a loose clip which covered the surrounding area with oil! Patched them all up (I think) and gauge is reading 1.45 - 1.5 bar @5000rpm :)

Yes it does mate, incredible performance in 4th when the gas is switched on. Was seeing 5.1 and 5.2 60-100 times in 4th gear only on vagcom:)

There aint many cars that will embarass you in this sector:) Shame it cant really be used under 60mph though:(

My best result at awesome so far is 283whp/414lbft. This was before full exhaust system/FMIC/hybrid turbo and stage 2 map was put on:)

I think im testing these AMK rods to the absoloute maximum;) People keep telling me they should have failed by now but they're still going strong:)

God knows what its doing now:shrug: Ill make another trip to awesome in the next month i think:)

I did write a review of what i thought about it somewhere (try search)

You finally got vagcom up and running now?
