nice man,and to think it was crashed into an u fixed it?? fairplay, loving the wheels on it,there really unique most fellas here jus go for shite ripspeed/halfords junk,i had the same shape but she was a 95 1.0 in deep puple, amazing looking car until i found out its chassis was kinked

I had a red one before the green one , so went through an awful lot of the silly stuff on that (although I did fit 1/2 leathers , decent exhaust etc).. the green one owes me nothing, so Its given lodgings
:D

ha,ha u should check out my 03 one its not much right now cos im studying but gimme a lil while,it got a push button engine start today and a tacho that wont rev up ha,ha but hopefully get that sorted

dont listen to what top gear says after all im pretty sure they said seats arnt to great in the past not only that if it isnt exotic they dont really like it.

i test drove a mk5 ibiza before i got my mk4 as the salesmen persuaded me to. so i did although it was only a 1.4 it was gutless my last car was a 1.4 and felt much more responsive i quite liked how positive it felt on corners but that was it the looks were quite awfull and i still think they are and the mk4 ticked all the boxes looks handling and had all the grunt i wanted.
i also considered a leon but im not a big fan of large cars i like small cars with big engines or fast engines rather thats my ten pennys worth.

It looks like the large engined small car is becoming extinct unfortunately, like the R32 golf, in favour of forced induction small engined cars.

we are a a tad biased in this section of the forum though lol! I dunno what I'd buy if I had to replace the ibiza, I don't mind the Leon but wouldn't buy one. Prob end up with a Audi or a VW.

yeh we are a tad biased :D, life after SEAT would probably put my hands into alfa, i do like them Alfa GT, especially with the 3.2 V6 in alfa red

alfas are class alright, they depreciate awful though( sorry had a snoop through a dictionary, the word caught me eye) but they are definetely a drool worthy car, although i have to say ive had eight different cars from saxos,to swift, puntos to 206s and none of them made me fall in love with them like my yellow ibiza!!! its getting a lcr splitter sat so it should look sweet!:D

Here's my tuppence worth:

The Mk4 is the best looking small hatch around, add reasonable parts quality from VAG, reasonable build quality, then plonk in a decent diesel engine (130 tdi in my case) and voila! You have a pretty good all round car.

Top Gear actually really put me off that car tbh!

well tbh clarkson said in one of his articles the ibiza is rubbish so i wouldnt always go by their opinion. the scirocco can't be that much different to the golf or infact the leon

i love top gear but they slate too many cars
