il be ordering me some of these as i noticed a small leak round the seals today

Crap on your inlet manifold. Dont think it effects the consumption unless they are really leaking

ID3.5 x 2mm wall should be alright tom. Bound to get those somewhere, probably RS.

ID is 3.5mm & wall is 2mm. ID looks a tad small, is that correct Phil?

Has anyone had problems trying to fit these? Cant seem to get the rail back onto the inlet. Ive used the oe part number 035 906 149 A

The new O-Rings are fatter than the ones ive taken from the bottom of the injector. Cant see no way of getting the injector back on.

think this is common for the leakage as a few guys including myself also have this maybe worth while replacing all these bits too more money haha

I replaced all these last year and I'm pretty sure there's two different sizes you need.

Yeah I thought so, well there are already 2 different sizes on their at the moment and VW are telling me there is only 1 type. Would anyone know the other part number?

I would have a look but im away and using my phone which is not easy!

I've only written down one part number 035906149A.

Can anyone confirm when replacing the o-rings with 035 906 149A, does the injectors take a lot of force for them to pop into the inlet? I've tried 3 times now and they wont go in, the old ones pop in with one hand!

VW are saying the above part number is the only one listed.

They should be the same top and bottom. Use a little LM grease or similar to help pop them in and get a better seal.

I replaced mine a few weeks ago and they were definitely identical top and bottom. Went on no problem too and were the same size as the ones i took off.

Injector o-rings are 14mm. The same top and bottom.

Do the inserts screw out? Or bang them out?

the injector seats are threaded so you can screw them in and out, although they maybe brittle and you might end up smashing them out, you'll need a 20mm allen key to fit them though

Would it matter if the injectors where bigger 225/s3 ones or is the ring the same throughout the range???
