Why would you want to do all this? Imo FR wheels are better looking than Cupras. Front of FR looks more modern than Cupras. £200 remap on FR and bobs yer uncle.

Agree with you on the wheels, but the fr and cupra bumpers look quite similar, its just the cupra bumper is slightly deeper, foglight housing is different and mesh is slightly different!

Well I had planned on getting down to seat last night to get a price for a new cupra but unfortunately I didn't get outta work when I had hoped and by the time I got home, made dinner (didn't get lunch so really needed some dinner) and down to the dealer's they were shut.

So looks like I won't get a chance to go down again until monday night providing nothing else comes up to mess up my plans.

There is an ex demo silver Ibiza Cupra TDI in Arnold Clark Seat in Linwood. I was there a couple of weeks ago. I think it was going for £12, 995.
Might give them a try. Good luck in the search.

Alex dont buy it! I had a look at it too! - Its been trashed up and down the country - One salesman even crashed it while in england payed for a bodge fix up - when he came back up the paint started to flake off and show the repair. The alloys are a mess and the door protector thing has recently fallen off too! - I wouldnt go near it.

Now thats a perfect example of why ex demo cars are a bad idea.
That car sounds a mess and I doubt if its been damaged and repaired already they can even sell it without declaring that fact.

Most demonstrators are ragged around - taking aside the sales guys who take them home, the people testing the cars tend to give them a thorough test - not warmed up or cooled down properly (poor turbos), and nearly always short journeys.

i agree. anyway most the used ones i was looking at, year old with less then 10K, were more over all because the finance rates were higher then a new one.

I went new and this will be my first new car that i like :)

I didn't. The salesman put me off when I went into the showroom.
Good choice eh?
