In the past when I've done stuff to NA cars the best bet is a panel filter, decent exhaust then a remap...mate with a 1.2 Corsa C SXI had his RR'd at 88.6bhp after that, they're 73bhp as standard..my lil 1.2 C was 105-106bhp with piper cams and 4-1mani...but I'd say for bang per buck, filter, exhaust and remap 
From what I've seen the standard air feed on these seems quite good, so you're probably as well with an uprated panel in the standard airbox rather than stick a cone on which would probably give you heatsoak from sucking in engine bay heat.

what would i be looking at for a filter and a decent exhaust, i already know the price of a remap for my car.

Pipercross are good mate, probs £40-£50 for panel. You'prolly looking around £350 for a catback exhaust.
Well you have a few options...I'll have a look around and see what is on offer for the 2.0, your other option is to go to a Powerflow or somewhere that makes custom exhausts whilst you wait, you get to pick the sound, exhaust tip etc, theyre usually about the same price as an off the shelf unit.
I have a friend who can fit my coilovers and said if i get an induction kit he will fot that for me aswell.
The only thing that is gonna cost me labour is the exhaust which is not a problem.
I bought some new chrome pedals and fitted them tonight, looks better now.
Im gonna buy one of the chrome seat sport gear knobs from ebay and i have already purchased my chrome surrounds for my air vents.
Whats peoples views on spacers as my mate said if the coilovers work well that spacers would look good.

Yeah I was the same as well, but I've bought some permaclear stuff. basically you clean the window with it and it leaves a layer that water just falls off. my lot should be coming tomorrow so I could show you what it's like if you wanted
