this thread is useless without pics ;)

How's the ride on the lowered springs (SEAT official ones?) compared to the standard stiffer springs that the sport comes with?

There actualli better than the normal sport springs in my opinion, i was in sheffield this morning nd yes the roads are rubbish but the ride wont too bad, yes it crashed about a little but nowt too serious, roads round me it rides really well

Would really like to see some pics as well thinking of dropping mine eventually. Measured the wheel gap today, 50 mm front 65 mm rear so was thinking of getting h&r 25/40 springs from dpm performance.

how hard was it to fit a splitter? Any ideas on what to do with the bottom of the rear bumper, seen anything to add to that?

Footwell Lights

So the other week I fitted some red LED strip lights in the footwells. They are connected to the interior light dimmer switch so they dim with the rest of the dash. They come on with the sidelights via the main light switch.

I also replaced the centre head liner courtesy light with a red 42mm LED festoon bulb hence the red glow on the seats.

The lights are a thin strip which I stuck onto the trim underneath but I know what you mean if they weren't thin strips there would be no where for them to go! You might have to get creative and make a holder for them or something? Good luck!

i have changed the interior lights for leds, the festoon and w5w, however when they are on they look great but when i start the engine (normally would dim then go out all together) the just dim but stay on, not brightly but u can tell they are on....wtf?

I would guess it's because the LED's use much less energy to work that standard filament bulbs,
so whereas usually the residual current in the system wouldn't be neough to illuminate a filament bulb, an LED will get enough juice to glow a bit?
