Inside door handle jammed

as above, anyone else had this problem?

it annoying as i have to drop the window and open the door from the outside -

the handle just wont budge - ive tried being persuasive with it but no joy-

is it a new cable i need to get?

best thing to do is take the door card off and have a look. You will need a trim removal tool which you can get anywhere about £6.

Agreed.

I used a flat head screwdriver to prise mine off ... came off really easy.

The cable is kind of udner tension and has this clip that you have to kind of stretch the cable out as you fit it ... sorry hard to explain.

It might be that it hadn't been fitted properly in the past ?

ONE WORD OF ADVICE. If you have manual mirrors (cable operated) dont try and remove the joystick from the back of the door ... the clips go really brittle and snap easily. I know from experience ... and I wasn't being heavy handed with them either!

ive had a look and theres nothing blocking the handle from moving - door card came off easily with a flat screw driver -

i think the cable is just buggered - was fine about a week ago, only been like this for about 5 days or so -

will order a new one and attempt to change it - will come back with results -
