Interior Microcracking - Damage to Interior Air-con/Heated Seat Surround! Cupra 290. How could this happen?

I’ve noticed this on my 18 plate Leon too. It wasn’t there and then it was. It looks like someone has to prise it off. But that is not the case.

The car i have now was like that dealer replaced unit before i picked it up
They said the same thing someone was trying to remove the panel.
I'm sure it was around £500 to buy the part.

My cluster with the speedo cracked in two with the heat.

Update on this one. Seat replaced it without any questions on my last service. Looks like new again. Didn't admit known fault but I had all the pictures of it getting progressively worse over the last 12 months and they replaced under warranty

Bumping an old thread, I'm replacing the control panel with one i got from ebay, will it throw up any errors?
I saw on YT someone had the airbag light come on which then had to be deleted on vcds.

I'm not sure, but I think as long as you disconnect the battery it should be OK, you will get a lot of warning/error lights after but they should go off after a bit of driving and turning lock to lock.
