Jabba IHI, Still ongoing

Hmmm. They definately told me £90 for a remap for people that already have a Jabba map. Still, makes no difference to me as I don't already have a Jabba map.

I've been promised a call before the end of August with a fitting date in September. Fingers crossed. I'll be very excited once the call happens!

Golf based cars should'nt be a problem.. Ibiza's are the troublesome ones for DP etc...

They are selling kits.

Apart from the bits that don't fit. Banjos thet bottom out in holes before going tight, incorrect threads on banjos. This was the first production batch and I'm sure these problems will be sorted.
Making up a downpipe is a touch interesting as well. The kits to my mind aren't quite finished, and still need a little thought.

IHI is a major undertaking, and I'm hoping once it's all sorted it'll be worth the £

I will be amazed Ben if you Have IHI fitted for the end of September. With so many IHI cars in for repair i am thinking the New Year before phone calls start happening. And even then i will be shocked.

Need more power - soon!!! Failed to pull away from a type R (pos an old accord) this moring (70-140) and he was a very happy chap (kudos due).

Although the Jabba website still says that they can handle the power!

Also, as of yet no solution has been found to this weak link (For road cars atleast).

DAngel, MadMile.... I really HOPE you are wrong.

So far I have spentover £10k getting the car ready for the IHI, and I'm likely to spend another £5k plus IHI by the end of the year.... so you can imagine how pi$$ed off I'd be if I spend £15k getting the car ready for something that doesn't happen!!!!

I do trust them though, I'm sure they will deliver eventually.

I spoke to Mike at Jabba today. He said your car Ben is going in next month for its IHI kit (happy for u Ben) current Jabba map users will just be charged for some RR time not a full remap. The Ibiza's are going 1st and Mike is hoping to have them all done for November/December (ibiza's that is). Using a stock manifold 300bhp is the basic tune. And a full kit will give 330bhp minimum going upto 350bhp car dependent.

Me to Ben. If it does'nt happen (fitted) by march/april at the latest next year i will be selling up and moving onto another car i reckon. But i hope it works out as i have planned, its down to Jabba to deliver now.

new rollers need to be made to work ASAP for IHI mapping...

Mine needs remap now as my mods have exceeded its mapping.

I hope it works this way as its turning into a little bit of a joke ihi and the waiting. Imagine it goes into the New Year. Since i went on the waiting list my car has another 12k on it. Its now at 38k. I cant afford to be putting a 4k kit onto a car with higher milage and in general a physically older car. It has to happen now before Christmas.

From what I saw of your car John making up a downpipe certainly is 'interesting'! When are you due to collect the car, or have you already?

Well Jabba promised me a call before the end of August. Working days wise that leaves tommorow and Tuesday.
