just brought a t reg ibiza air ,,,i love it but need some help please with roof

Hi there guys I have just purchased a wonderful T reg seat ibiza air i totally love it its red and its sooooooo unique ,,,,the only problem i have with it is the roof that opens right back consertina style all the way to the rear of the car ,,Isnt working ,,,,,,,,when i press the button it makes a real loud noise but seems stuck or something it only opens like about half an inch ,any ideas what this could be and can it easilly be fixed ,,where or who would i go to ,,etc any ideas id realy apreciate it the kids cant wait till its working especally me ,,,thanx

have a read of the Haynes manuals, or take the switch of n see if there is anything loose, also take it to garage or seat dealer

yer i think i will need to take it to a garage ,,,i have looked in the manual but just says take it to a specialist ,,,so i guess thats what i will have to do thanks for your reply . id totally love to hear from any one who has this model cherrs

if its like on a MK3 golf, you could try winding it back manualy, (if you take the cover down, the manual winder should be in there) flip back the little black cover and you will see where the winder goes, fip the black cober back, it has a motor coutout on it, sonds like its getting stuck, and cutting the motor out, (thinkinking its fully open,)
