Thats the game Rash.

Thought it would be safer and a better base for the spring.

Its really easy to take it out.

I adapted a sping holder so the spring sits in a base. I done it in an hour or so.

Im sure its dropped another 20-30mm without a doubt. Sits perfect for me now.

Adapted? Fancy dropping me a PM with more info :p

The turning disk was welded to another bit and sat in.

Took the turning disk off and welded that to another bit of metal.

Then bolted that the same as you would the normal adjuster set-up.

So the spring sits in the turning disk without the adjuster bolt. So just turning disk on its own.

just a quickie about the pro streets, did the rear shock absorbers come with a sleeve or do you use the existing dust cover?

 I was thinking the same. But checked with my mate who has them on his MK5 Golf GTi and he was the same aswell. No sleeves supplied.

pikey mofos can't even chuck some new sleeves in the price! the scandal!

mind you, 300 quid for 3 month old ones is a good price :D they seem to be missing one of the top bolts but that's no sweat it looks pretty darn standard to me if the guy can't find it!

I took my eibach adjuster cups out yesterday but its only a 5mm drop. I just used a set of spring compressers to take the spring out then unscrewed the cup and put the sping back in. Took me a while but its worth it

I'd say the back end looks spot on. Looks crap with the wheel stuffed in the arch imo. You should get some 20mm spacers for the back wheels. Nice car! Same as mine. Same colour/same wheels....that's about it!

Cheers mate, must say i am truly thrilled with this kit:p. I'm still going to attempt and lower the back a fraction tomorrow. Yes i think spacers will be my next mod. Is that whats recommended for the back 20mm?

I'm guessing midland vw wound down the rear as much as they will go. Will i have to take off the adjuster cup to lower the rear, then put it back on, basically would someone be able to tell me how to do this as i can't find a guide
