Yeh read a bit of spraying advice, got some panel wipes, plastic primer, wet and dry soaked in warm water and gloss black paint and lacquer from halfords. I am not very good at spraying but I think it looks okay and it looks better than it did. Left the shiny plastic with the TDI & S badge as they are mine was melted on as well as clipped on.
went with platinum gray colour, getting the wing mirrors done this week as well

yea i think it will look pretty good, makes it a bit more personal
yea mate sounds good, was thinking of a springs drop for the short-term, let me know when you have them off.
boost gauge was from halfords, about 20 quid, and the A pillar holder was off the internet from a company called RGM i think...about 25 quid...

Really nice car, i wish i had the money to do some of what you've done. Just noticed on one of your pics it looks like you have a bonnet scoop.
doesnt cost all that much, just bits and bobs over time and buying 2nd hand
yea the bonnet scoop is my dads skyline's spolier
the money pit will be getting some new additions soon as well

I know how you feel everyone is harassing me to get my coilovers fitted now I have bought them but gonna cost alot to get them fitted so gotta wait until I get paid again now!
