Well someone here said they fitted the old one and with more jiggling they managed to stick it further out. So you could have a play, why did the exhaust place not say anything they must have noticed? More importantly are you happy with the sound or do you agree with what people were saying on the other thread (not got mine yet they said I have to wait 2 weeks I think)
why you got to wait so long? maybe because awesome were going to send you the pre-facelift version but now have to go back to milltek to get the right one?
Well im pleased with it, i much prefer the oval tail pipe, and i can def hear a difference, its not loud loud, as in you can hear me coming a mile off which is not what i wanted, i wanted a sound that is bit deeper with a bit more gruff when you want to boot it, and i think it does that.
As looks go, i think it looks great, i did think that it could of come out a few more inches, but its not as if its hidden, you can clearly see it, but from the thread that altech put up you can see the diference between having it like mine and also a few inches further out....
i rang awesome at 9oclock this morning and they said they will ring me back today about what is going on, they havent confirmed that it is the wrong part etc....however i will not be driving to manc for a re-fit, as already stated i paid someone local to fit it for me, so they will not swap the facelift version for free.......
all said and done mistakes happen and im sure awesome will do what ever they can to make sure i get the correct exhaust and do not have to outlay anymore money in getting it re-fitted....
