i believe i painted over the chorome surround so its still got a sort of border if u like, the chrome is a pain to get rubbed down but u'll get there. as for the S, once the grill is out the car u will see if u look behind it how the S comes out, easy enough. Dont paint the S too much like dont have a thick wad of paint on it as you will strugle to get it back into place without ruining ur beloved paintwork. i think its nice with a touch of colour ^^ i.e. not necessarily red but whatever, red does suit it tho.

Car has been hit :(

was parked up in a car park and came back to find a lovely big scratch and dent on the front-drivers side wheel arch. Has caused surface scratches on the door, then one deep one on the wheel arch, this has also caused a small-medium size dent.

To say im angry is an understatement. It has also ruined my Seat Sport Sticker so will need a new one of them. My OH tells me its not that noticable, but now its the only thing i can concentrate on. so now going to have to find some money from somewhere to get that done, hopefully if the dent is pulled out the scratches wont be too bad!

Some people are so disrespectfull its untrue.

thanks mate. Its not to bad, silver is great colour to hide scratches, but to me it stands out like someone has covered it with red paint.

I clean my car every week so know exactly what scratches were there and what ones are new....the surface scratches are ok, and will machine out, but the deeper one will need spraying and the dent is about a fist size!

Sorry i havent pm'ed you back, have been meaning to, i really want the grill as wanna see what it looks like, but cant afford it now, as this will set me back a couple hundred i predict and what with xmas round the corner......

was a public underground car park, so no cctv already did that and asked the security guard if he saw anything!

getting another couple of quotes today to see if its any cheaper

yep you would think so. to be honest im coping well, quite ill at the moment so its the last thing on my mind really! Was hoping to get it done for about 125-150 but we will see!

meeting a chap later today to see what he can do. Just makes me not wanna bother anymore because someone can just ruin it so easily!

Was trying to explain to my OH about it, but doubt she understands, when you put all your time and money into something the littlest thing can ruin it, even if its not really really noticable!

Sorry to hear this, I know how you feel when stuff goes wrong with it you sometimes think why should I bother, I cleaned my car Saturday and someone has scuffed my nice new rear bumper for the second time so not happy! Things will look up soon I am sure.

I know exactly how you feel fella! Literally two weeks ago I came back to my car in a public car park and someone had put a decent scratch in my front bumper!

Hope it gets sorted soon.
