LCR Stereo - Any way to turn off auto volumn adjust?

Is there any way of turning off the auto volume adjustment on the LCR stereo? Its when the volume goes louder as you get into higher speeds. Its damn annoying as it always goes too loud on its own.

Yes. It is a menu option. Cant remember the name but check your stereo manual, it is in there. I thought it was quite a useful feature tbh, but then I hardly notice myself turning it up and down anyway now I have a different HU

Fair enogh, i like to listen to the engine sometimes but you gota have you tune's for day to day driving!

i c.. i only drive my lcr on nice sunny summer days/nights. i have only driven it 4100 mil.
but my everyday day car (impreza) its good to listen to some music on my way to work.

hate this feature too......slightly to do with the speakers distorting when you are booting it.....

Isn't it called "GALA" function? It was in my Bora.

It annoyed the hell out of me, especially as it doesn't do a very good job of doing it in 'real time' so it lags behind.

Yeah I originally thought it was a good feature too but it always over compensates at 40mph. its got to the point I'll just remove it and turn it up myself to a level I want.

Remember there are three levels
off, mild and extreme
Mild has work for me for 6 years very well

Press and hold PTY/PROG button till it beeps scroll across till you get to SCV and select to off. easy!

so out the factory it is extreme? or mild?

Out of the factory its turned off I beleve?

I'm not sure what mine is set to, i'm presuming mild as it does only turn up slightly at motorway speeds.
