nopei dont think so buddy, my car has 3000 miles on the clock when i bought it so it didnt have a previous owner and this was setup on the radio....im sure mine is extreme, i like a lot of dance and D & B, and if i go from 40 to 80 quickly the speakers are distorting like fook...i hate that function, i cant understand people liking it tbh

Ah right bit wierd, I'l check mine tomorrow. Mine definitely don't distort.. maybe try mild?

I admit on my last car that had it I was a bit unsure whether I liked it or not but its useful especially if your lazy!

well i had a look today cos it was doin my head in....mine is set on MID...wtf?....hate to think what HIGH would be like...i would have no speakers left!!

put it on LOW and its much better

I think it's a cool feature :D

Funnily enough it's the one feature I miss after replacing the standard stereo with the Alpine unit!
