LED Brake Light Bulbs

Hey guys,

Just bought some Red 19 LED bulbs for the lights on my lcr,I thought they were working ok, until I noticed that the spoiler top brake light was staying on with the lights.

Is this because I may need resistors?

check all fuses mate, also are they the proper leds, with the oem connectors?

when i had a fuse gone the 3rd brake light was on and the front sidelight blown

Yeah near enough the same as that my friend,got mine from halfords,everything is fine if I put the original bulbs back in!!but as soon as the leds are in thats when the 3rd brake light stays on!!

not sure then, its causing a short in the circuit somewhere, sounds daft, you tried swapping them round?

also on the leon arent the lights and brake lights on the same bulb? are these

Yeh! haha, yeh I have tryed swapping them around,still the same happends! yer they are the same bulb,the led bulbs dose exactly the same as the OEM bulbs does,its just causing the 3rd brake light to stay on,but the 3rd brake light isn't bright until I put my foot on the brake pedal lol! so if you can understand what I'm saying ha-ha,the 3rd brake light is dull like the other to lights untill I brake!!

Yeh all the fuses are ok,and all the lights are working fine,looks like its interfering with the 3rd light!!

Been hiding, but mainly looking for a job but maintenance work is still scarce round here.
Just trying to save for 2 piece front disks.
If you do get the bushes i can give you a hand fitting them, did mine in about half an hour

id get the ths dbone mount complete mate, better than polyflex, no vibrations at all and it the complete mount, so takes 5 mins to fit

I too will get the full engine mount set from INA, but until funds allow 15 quid on bushes are a good inbetweener (if thats a word)

£50 delivered, well wort the extra 25quid, cant be doing with cabin vibrations on the powerflex ones
