I'm in the market for a Cupra very soon as old car is starting to struggle. If I wait for the 300 isn't there a danger the prices will increase because of the weaker pound?

Has anyone any more news about what petrol engines may be available for the FR following the facelift?
I've currently got the 1.8 Tsi which was 3 years old in June.
I was going to change mine before it got to 3 years and this time have a DSG version. I was probably going to have another 1.8 but I wasn't completely dismissing the 1.4.
In the end I decided to keep my current car a bit longer and so had it serviced in June and an MOT. I'm not going to leave it another year and will be looking to order a new one around December for a delivery around April. I'm just waiting now to see what engines will be available in the FR.

Photos posted to Clubseatleon.net and looks to be from same time as when it originally appeared in June/July.

The LEDs can only be the return of foglamps? Assuming this isn't a well engineered fake.

If they all have that front the Cupra will barely stand out at all. It's the lack of fogs that is the only easy indicator of what it is fr the front.

16th september 2016

Friday the 16th of September is now less than a week away, so if we can order the facelifted MY17 version from that date, do you know when SEAT UK are going to release the new specifications and pricelist so we can choose what to order, or has the new model order date been postponed until after the Paris Motor Show?

If they add fogs or whatever those stupid wee stuck on lights are then i'll be glad I have the pre-facelift model. I despise fog lights.

Well, it is now after the close of business on Thursday the 15th of September, so if we can order the MY17 (facelifted) versions of the SEAT Leon from tomorrow, SEAT UK haven't left themselves much time to publish the details! As of 620pm UK time today, there is no information whatsoever on the SEAT UK website, and all MY16 versions and options including within the Configurator, still appear to be fully available, but I will check again first thing tomorrow!

I wouldn't rely on the configurator. As others have posted previously, there are often anomalies between price lists, brochures and the configurator. It seems as though the configurator is last to be updated - and even then errors remain.

Based on other's experiences, it's almost certain that certain models which you can build online can't actually be ordered - and that's been the case for a while.

But maybe, we will see some sort of update tomorrow;)

If build week is 45 onwards (as per previous FL across the whole VAG group) then why would we get details now? We're only build week 37 going in to 38.

Catched some information in a German car forum. Not sure how legit it is but here's the very rough translation done by Google:
Some news which were presented at an event at Seat on Friday:
Leon:
1. The Leon gets the navigation screen from Ateca.
2. The rear lights are changed
3. Otherwise, no further information on motor / front / all-wheel etc. (Seat adheres as rain)

Ibiza:
1. The new Ibiza is presented in the April / May 2017 at the dealers.
2. In October 2017, the Ibiza SUV is presented.

Otherwise get no information, he hopes that in the next 14 days more, but probably not until the Paris Motor Show.

The Seat Italian configuratore is either broken or being changed. You can no longer select the 18" spare or the 10 speaker option.

Tbh I'm very intrigued by the Ibiza suv As it'll be out when I'm due a change :). I can't justify the price or size of the Ateca and I imagine the smaller one will be slightly cheaper to run - just depends on the running gear and specs.

Just noticed DrivetheDeal have taken off all Leon 2.0 litre engine options. Has the Facelift got something to do with this or just a coincidence?

Hello, was told today when I was at the dealer in Czech republic that there is a halt on Leon production and my order is postponed to week 46 from 42. Then that the new additions to the face-lift is going to be a electric parking brake and an 8 inch touch screen option. The other interesting thing is the reveal is not going to happen in October but in January because of VW problems with golf or something in those lines.

Didn't notice it's only for the ST version (for now?).

That looks like it hasn't loaded properly - if you look closely it's the SE fogs on top of the Fr fogs, not a new design just a mash up of the two
